5. Other way of starting car up is clicking and holding a button on GEMC UniHUD v2(manual).

7. Water drive - turns props on and off. When props are engaged, there will be a bright red signal lamp glowing above your gauges. This function can be triggered by clicking water drive shifter in the car, or WATER DRIVE button on the UniHUD. When engaged, press your brakes button(S or Arrow Down) to switch props direction. Turn water drive off as soon as you're out of the water.

8. Hand Throttle - operates the cruise control. Can be triggered by both dashboard switch and UniHUD button.

9. Choke - slightly increases rpm with according engine sound, has no gameplay effect.

10. Bilge Pump - turning it on will force out all the water collected in the bilge compartment during your water travel. Can be triggered by both dashboard switch and UniHUD button. Has no effect on gameplay.

 Passengers in the back can get up and sit on top of folded soft top, by using special button on their UniHUDs.
 By default, front occupants are getting in the vehicle by climbing over the sides. To make them enter in a conventional way, slightly lift up front windows, or lift up the soft top.
Passengers eject is accessible from GEMC UniHUD, and provides eject through dialog menu.
HUD layout for driver/passengers.
 16. GTFO! support - this vehicle supports GTFO! system(https://sl-gtfo.com) out of the box. Starting with 1.6 version, the vehicle uses 2 vapi keys - one for land, and one for water deliveries. The keys change automatically when the vehicle enters or leaves water, so in order to be able pick boat cargos your vehicle should be in the water, and vise versa. Once the GTFO! cargo is loaded, the vapi key will remain unchanged until the end of the trip for safety purposes. When loaded, the cargo will be shown in front cargo compartment in a shape of a suitcase. If you own a modifable version, you can attach your prims to it and use them as a cargo. To do so, change the description of your cargo prims to "CARGO"(without quotation marks). This will make those prims elegible for participation in our new cargo loading/unloading scripted sequence. Cargo prims will be loaded starting with the ones that are placed deeper inside the vehicle, and going towards the outside. Unloading is performed in reverse. With 1.6 version you can make your cargo/luggage prims move with the bonnet. In order to do so, add "ADDON_BONNET" prefix to their descriptions, in example: "ADDON_BONNET_CARGO" - that will make a prim move and be recognized by GTFO! system.

17. Customizing - this car is using dialogue menus(2019 update) for customizing. Click the car for menu, then click "Customize..." button to enter the customization menu. The menu features numbers of custom options such as additional exterior detail, interior addons, luggage, and more.
This car can be painted to any color using custom color input option, in addition to having 16 pre-defined solid colors. Also it has 16 pre-made liveries and can use custom ones as well.
 You can paint the interior metal separately to make it work sell with your livery, or you can use the "From body" button to make it inherit the body color(buttons located in "Interior" sub-menu).
 "Mats control"(no-mod version only) option provides ways to change specular map on the car or pick an old-style shine effect, as well as set up a custom normal map for the car exterior, or remove current one(additional maps provided in same .psd file with livery template).

JG 1500 Charging unit v1.8 update

 There are some changes we'd like to tell you about.

1. Now, in order to operate it, you have to rotate it so its back wall points towards the vehicle you want to charge(similar to previous versions), but instead of just connecting on click, you will be presented with a menu. This menu has two options: "Connect/Disconnect"(depending on context), and "Access"(shown for owner only), that allows you to change access mode to one of three levels: "Owner", "Same group", and "Anyone". This way you can have other persons operate this charging unit.
 For the "guest" operator, only "Connect/Disconnect" option will be shown in the menu.
The charger can be also disconnected at any given point of time by the owner of the vehicle it's currently connected to. In this case, the owner of the vehicle will be presented with "Disconnect" option in the menu. Once disconnected, vehicle owner can no longer operate it(unless the charging unit's access mode allows it).

2. Gmund Stuttgart Ferdinand support disabled for now(incompatible with vehicle's code). Please use batteries instead(Gmund Stuttgart Ferdinand doesn't have "battery replacement cooldown", so batteries can be replaced any time).

3. Detroit Pacific support added.

Detroit Pacific manual

Common features.
1.
Fuel - this vehicle is equipped with GFS fuel system. It uses DIESEL FUEL. It has one fuel tank, accessible from the right side. Fuel capacity is 170 gallons(643 litre).

2. Electricity - this vehicle is equipped with two batteries and electricity consumption system. Batteries are located in a separate compartment on the right side of a bus. It supports all GEMC batteries types, so you can choose your favorite ones. OEM batteries for this vehicle provide 80Ah output.(see Batteries and electrical devices policy update for details).
Batteries and fuel compartments.
 3. Gearbox - Detroit Pacific is equipped with automatic gearbox. You can switch between positions with E/C or PgUp/PgDn buttons.
Gearbox positions:
P - parking;
R - Reverse;
N - Neutral;
D - Drive;
3 - 3rd gear;
2 - 2nd gear;
1 - 1st gear.

4. Starting sequence - this vehicle is equipped with realistic startup procedure. Click "Master Control" switch on the dashboard or in engine compartment, and then click+hold "Engine start" button t ostart the engine. Depending on vehicle's conditions, startup time may vary.

5. Other way of starting the bus is clicking and holding a button on GEMC UniHUD v2(manual).
And last way is to use gesture(in this case you just have to press a combo of buttons once, and wait for car to start up).

Custom features.
6. All controls are labeled, so they are self explaining, however there are two functions we'd like to explain a bit broader.
Wipers - this bus is equipped with pantograph wipers with individual controls located on the right side of dashboard. Wipers can be stopped on both sides of a windshield;
Fast idle - increased compressor power when idle in price of higher fuel consumption;
Steplight and chimes - activites stepwell lighting and "Emergency" buttons.
Emergency/parking brake - its valve knob is located behind gear selector;
Wig-wag lights switch - shows up only when wig-wags enabled via Custom HUD.
Dashboard controls.
7. Air pressure and air-operated devices -  this bus is equipped with number of air-operated devices including air brakes(both service and parking/emergency), air horn, and a door lock. When any of these are operated, air pressure in the system drops a little, and when it goes below 30psi, the air compressor engages and starts refilling air tanks. Driver will also be presented with a buzzer sound and a warning light on dashboard, so they are aware that future operations of air devices may cause complete air drain. Once air pressure rises above 100psi, the light goes off.
 - When the air pressure is low, brakes have harder time releasing, so you may experience slower acceleration after braking, and when pressure drops further, brakes may nearly lock.
 - When there's no air pressure in the system, front door's lock can't be disengaged, so in order to open a door you'll have to depress a button on the front pannel of a bus(below the windshield), or in case you're inside, you have to click a lever labeled "Ent. door lock overrule", located to the right from dashboard, otherwise you will be presented with "No air." message.
 - When there's no air in the system, air horn can't be operated.
 - Every time you use emergency/parking brake, the pressure drops significantly.

8. Lavatory - this bus is equipped with a compact lavatory unit. It features a flush toilet and a sink. Lavatory occupant can change poses by using GEMC UniHUD v2+(layout image later in the article). Lavatory illumination turns on when lavatory door is closed and locked. Occupant can flush a toilet by clicking flush switch and turn a sink on and off by clicking sink valve. Lavatory also features an emergency signal button located on the front wall of the compartment. Depress it to alert driver with a buzzer sound and a signal lamp on dashboard.

9. Prisoner transport - interior of this bus can be transformed to be used as a prisoner transport. In this case it will have total of 39 seats - 4 regular seats for guards located in front of a bus, and 35 utility benches for prisoners in the back. Prisoner area is separated into two compartments by steel dividers with grate-covered windows. Divider doors can be locked and unlocked by clicking the handle. In prisoner transport version, lavatory door is replaced with a non-lockable curtain.

Other functions.
10. HUD - This bus is utilizing second generation of GEMC UniHUD, which means dynamic controls layout and simple operation. Below there's an image of layouts for various roles within bus.

11. Passengers - this bus is equipped with unique passengers system, allowing you to carry up to 47 passengers in same time depending on interior configuration. There are only 11 hardcoded seats, but, if extra passengers will manage to sit on the bus, they will be placed in proper seats as well. There's also an additional passenger position located in lavatory. Passengers can recieve a copy of UniHUD 2+ from vehicle. It allows regular passengers to change their seats, and lavatory passenger can change their pose upon lavatory equipment.
Passengers eject is accessible from GEMC UniHUD, and provides eject through dialog menu.
HUD layout for driver/passenger/lavatory occupant.
12. Customizing - this bus is using HUD for customizing. Click the bus for menu, then click "Customize..." button to get the "Detroit Pacific Custom HUD". There are some important security changes in vehicle code, so unlike Custom HUDs of previous vehicles, to use this one you have to face the bus, or sit inside it. Once you click a HUD, it will try to connect to the bus. Once connection is established, you will be presented with "Detroit Pacific Custom HUD: New key recorded!" message.
The HUD features numbers of custom parts such as additional exterior detail, driver's area addons, luggage, and much more.
This bus doesn't have "painting" ability, but it has 16 pre-made liveries and can use custom ones as well. Custom liveries stack up in Custom HUD, so you can cycle through them, or delete them by clicking a trash bin button.
The Custom HUD also has an option to change specular map on a bus or pick an old-style shine effect, as well as set up a custom normal map for the bus exterior, or remove current one(normal maps provided in same .psd file with livery template).

UniHUD update(coming soon)

Okay, in a week or so there will be a new vehicle, and updated version of UniHUD by the version of 2.2.

Here's a list of changes since v2.0(there were some other changes in v2.1 and 2.v11, but we didn't release update notes):

v2.1:
- You can scale it up and down with edit tool, it will preserve the "folded" position;
- You can upload your tracks via notecard -  just put your sounds UUIDs in a notecard line by line without any extra spaces, or commas or whatever, and drag that notecard onto the UniHUD;

v2.2:
- Guest drivers are now able to control vehicle from outside+ there's no more mess if there are multiple vehicles owned by a same person being operated in any of guest modes;
- Guest drivers have to connect their HUD to the vehicle first to be able to operate it from outside. To do so, they have to click vehicle, and either click "Access" button, or go to "Vehicle", and click "Connect HUD" button, it' all the same. Also they can sit as a driver first, and it will connect HUD automatically;
- Passenger layout changes back to Driver's after standing up from passenger seat(provided your HUD was connected to this vehicle before);
- Owner is unable to trigger indicators and other stuff when changing passenger's seat when on a bus;
- "Help Page" option on HUD now brings up vehicle manual page link(via llInstantMessage());
- Guest drivers can play tracks recorded to their own HUDs now;
- HUD odometer removed, replaced with persistent "Unflip" and "Bad roads fix" buttons.

Current vehicles will be updated to fully support new HUD version shortly(sorta). Until that, please keep using v2.0/2.1/2.11 with them.
